| Name: | Sario Grijalva |
|---|
They called me Neosso Irrado, and tried to control me via my paintings. However, I have escaped them incompetent, visionless fools and am once again free to follow my Luza do'Orro, my Gift...
This is an RPG journal for , and I don't own either Sario Grijalva or Gael García Bernal. The character comes from a novel called the Golden Key, by Melanie Rawn, Jennifer Roberson and Kate Elliot. The book is set in a fantasy world, heavily based on the Mediterranean (Italy, Spain and Portugal). The time period that Sario lives in goes from pretty much the Renaissance to his world's version of the French Revolution. He is also an immortal, though he has to work at it. His speech has a spattering of Italian/Spanish-esque words and phrases; these can all be found here
As far as description goes, he looks pretty much like his does the icons - an unremarkable looking young man with an intense stare and an easy smile (to use a quote from the book, "he had a plain face made interesting being the intensity of its expression"). Normally he wears a black jakcet in the style of the late 1700s (think French Revolution)with tails that come down to mid-thigh and a burnished golden key- a Chieva do'Orro- on a chain around his neck. The key never comes off, but is sometimes underneath his shirt. There is a faint but permanent smell about him -that of paints and oils. Unless drunk, he is also impatient on the subject of art and quick to anger but very charming. Sario is also Gifted, obsessive and possessive about certain things, and although he is most likely clinically insane, can also be very sweet.
Sometimes.
